Written Works

At a young age, I had an interest in journaling. It was an outlet for me to process the events and emotions in my life. In 2020, I began writing poetry and pieces of what would become my first book, Becoming Mister Ross: A Story of Growth, Connection, and Healing, which I published in June 2024.

My poem, Look in the Mirror, was chosen as a 2020 summer contest winner for The Electric Rail. Do Not Disturb was published in the anthology A Glass of Wine with Edgar which can be ordered here.

In collaboration with the Christian Writers Sanctuary, I published my first short story, A Tale of Two Sons: Redemption Beyond the Horizon. This story can be found in the anthology Untold, Bible Stories Reimagined.

I have performed poetry and short story reads in the Scranton area including two featured sets, one titled Hope and Healing.

Becoming Mister Ross

Mister Ross emphasizes throughout his story the journey of building one’s identity through experiences and decision-making. Faith, hope, and personal growth are pillars on this journey. The power of connection and relationships is what keeps a person moving forward, even in the most difficult of times. Healing is possible.

"I believe there is much to gain on the journey of personal growth. Showing up, such as through reading a book like this, creates the opportunity for optimism, insight, and change for oneself. Connection to another is the impetus for change."
